Giotto UV is a laser marking system of the latest generation equipped with a diode pumped solid state laser source characterized by an output wavelength of 355 nm.
The UV laser sources, unlike the Nd:YAG sources in the infrared, enable working processes with quality and performances which up to now have been regarded as impossible, and remarkably reduce the thermic-mechanical strain on the processed material. The spot diameter and the wavelength are three times lower than those of the infrared and are the right solution to all those cases in which a more accurate detail is demanded or when the material cannot be processed by the conventional lasers (for example plastic materials).

It disposes of the dynamic control of the fire point and of the spot dimension and it ensures a remarkable application flexibility and it enhances the performances.
Giotto UV disposes of a wide range of ancillary equipments such as XY tables, rotary table, rotary attachment 360°, Z axis, automatic loader for labels, label unwinding system, camera, Class 1 solutions etc.
